It is with heavy but hope-filled hearts that we would like to make a selfish ask of you.
As you know, St. Louis and Ferguson, MO are?currently processing through the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown incident. How can you help our community and congregation? Our people would love to know that others around the country, and around the world, are praying for our city, our families, our churches. We are praying for peace, reconciliation, restoration and God to move us in the direction in a mighty way. We know you are already praying, but can we ask you to help us in a personal way?
We are in the process of creating a video wall of prayers and words of encouragement coming from our friends outside of St. Louis and Ferguson. Our community needs to know that they are being prayed for and that others around the country are storming heaven with prayers. Would you please record, on your mobile device, a 30-second video or less (prayer, words of encouragement, scripture, etc?) and e-mail it to?online@wcrossing.org?by 9 AM on Wednesday, November 26th??It doesn?t need to be pretty or polished up. It can be on your cell phone. All we need is to hear your voice (make sure audio is understandable) and see your heart. Don?t forget to mention who you are and city/state.
Thanks for helping us walk with our city through a process of healing.
Serving Him,
