Easter at Christ?s Church of the Valley was an all-hands-on-deck production event. This meant six more than their usual roster running everything. It also meant they called their A-team out to get it all done. Here?s a list of the positions they filled for Easter and whether or not the position was a volunteer or staff position.
Audio Engineer?This was a full-time staff member.
Lighting Director?Another full-time staff position.
6-7 Camera Operators?All volunteers.
Camera Director?Manned by one of the full-time staff members.
Roaming Production Guy?Another position manned by a staff member.
ProPresenter Operator?Volunteer.
CG Operator?Volunteer.
Shader?Volunteer.
Switcher?Volunteer.
Playback Operator?Volunteer.
Broadcast Engineer?Volunteer in charge of sending audio feeds to the other campuses.
Record/Capture?Volunteer.
Back Wall Operator?Volunteer providing teleprompter and lyric support.
Stage Manager?Volunteer.
On a standard weekend?depending on how intense the production process is?they?ll combine some of the positions. But because their Easter services were a bit more production intensive, they had each position filled.
The same was true for their other campuses. They had between 6-7 positions at each campus with one full-time staff person in one of those roles.
